Important Rule Changes

Several rules will be altered, most of them only for this season, to fit within the wildcard theme and the constraints of the 3-week length, here are a couple highlighted ones:

  • Ladder versions of the bots will be used for the wildcard. Main event qualified authors will be allowed to submit modified versions one time, before the start of the Main Event (Ro8). Submissions will be open soon.
  • Authors will not be given the option to choose alternative bots for this season.

You can find this season’s detailed rulebook here, with all updated sections highlighted.

Seeding

We will be using the ladder rankings from the cutoff date to determine seeding, while Zozo claims seed 1 as last season’s champion. There will be no alternate bot submissions this season, and no submission phase for the wildcard stage. Further info can be found in the rulebook.
